Volunteer with us as an Ethics Committee Member |

|
Dear Resident, We are working with Warwickshire Police to seek independent members to join our Ethics Committee, which provides objective advice, challenge and scrutiny on the use of new and existing technologies in policing. Independent oversight is crucial to ensuring that the Board operates with integrity, impartiality and transparency. By maintaining independence, members can provide unbiased ethical guidance, help identify emerging risks and contribute to informed decision-making. We welcome applications from people with knowledge, experience or an interest in one or more of the following areas: We also ask that all applicants are at least 18 years old; able to act independently and impartially and have no direct involvement with the police; live, work or study in Warwickshire and are happy to successfully complete the required NPPV 2 vetting process. Independent members will be appointed for an initial four-year term, which may be renewed once by agreement. You'll receive tailored induction, training, and ongoing development to meet the specific needs of the Board. These will be developed and delivered to effectively support members in fulfilling your role. If you want to find out more about this opportunity, or are interested in applying, please visit our website for full details, including the role profile. If you would like an informal discussion about the role before applying, then please email us: opcc@warwickshire.police.uk | ||
